Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana.  The statewide mask mandate has been lifted. However, mask policies in Louisiana will be set by local leaders and business owners. Under the Governor’s new public health order, masks will still be required on public transit and in state government buildings, K-12 schools, early childhood education centers, colleges and universities, and healthcare facilities. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced at that location.

Jam the Night Away at Concerts and Special Performances

Concerts and special performances have been paused because of COVID-19. When the state mandate allows for concerts and special performances, the Shreveport-Bossier music scene will once again be offering big name entertainers and local and regional performers. Major venues such as Brookshire Grocery ArenaShreveport Municipal Auditorium and area casinos offer a year-round roster of pop, rock, R&B and more.
