Shreveport-Bossier Fun Guide

Planning Ahead for May and June

Out of an abundance of caution, numerous large festivals and events planned in Shreveport-Bossier for March and April have been canceled or postponed. (See a list here.) Keeping that in mind, we'd like to suggest that you mark your calendars for these outstanding May, June and July events.

Mother's Day Weekend will be packed with fun events, including the Kegs & Corks Craft Beer and Wine Festival on May 9 and the Shreveport Stuffed Shrimp Festival on May 10. One of Louisiana's largest annual crawfish festivals, Mudbug Madness Festival, is scheduled to take place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24. June is prime time for summer festivals, including the 2020 CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally, June 12-13, and the Let the Good Times Roll Festival, June 19-21. The KTBS 3 Independence Day Festival, an enormous fireworks festival with live music and more, is set for July 4.
