Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana. Although many businesses have been approved for limited reopening, some nonessential businesses will remain closed to the public. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced.

Christmas in Shreveport and Bossier

Merry Christmas, y'all! Christmas is a grand celebration in Shreveport-Bossier. Tour historic homes dressed in their holiday finery, be enchanted by thousands of twinkling lights at Christmas in Roseland, or be awed at the spectacular display at Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival. The updated 2019 edition of The Holly Jolly Handbook will be available soon, so check back often.

The activities start in late November and continue throughout December. Browse our calendar, select your favorite events, and add them to your favorites. With all the fun things to do in Shreveport and Bossier City, you'll need more than one day, so book a room and stay a while.
