Pause to Stop and Smell the Roses
Stop and smell the roses in one of the many lush gardens that Shreveport-Bossier offers. Walk around the nation’s largest park dedicated to roses at the American Rose Center. The 118-acre park features 20,000 rosebushes and a variety of companion plants, sculptures and fountains. Rosarians and garden lovers of 10 or more can get a special behind-the-scenes tour called "All About the Roses."
In the spring time, discover approximately 100 native and hybrid species of beautiful azaleas at the R.W. Norton Art Gallery Gardens or visit the ASEANA Asian Gardens located near Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. The ASEANA Asian Gardens represent 15 Asian countries with beautifully landscaped garden beds, artifacts and statues.
