Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards took significant measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana and has issued a statewide "stay at home" order until April 12, requiring Louisiana residents to shelter in place unless going out for essential tasks, as one of the most stringent steps yet to stanch the “community spread” of COVID-19.

2018-06-09 09:00:00Nature Playdate - CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE<p>Every second Saturday of the month, Red River National Wildlife Refuge invites families to experience a nature-themed playdate designed for children ages 4-9. Children can enjoy a day of play in the refuge's Nature Play Area. <br /><br />To get to the Nature Play Area from the Visitor Center, walk down the boardwalk toward the lake, turn right and follow the green trail into the woods for about 300 feet.
