- Description Unique in both its massive circular layout and its world-renowned dioramas, and acclaimed for its huge fresco and Native American artifacts, the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum houses many dynamic collections and rotating exhibits that offer insight into the history and culture of Louisiana and beyond. The iconic museum rotunda and grounds can host more than 800 people.

2023-01-19 09:00:00 2023-02-20 16:00:00 Changing Landscapes: Photographs Along the Solomon Northup Trail <p>The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum will host the "Changing Landscapes: Photography Along the Solomon Northup Trail" exhibit from January 19 - February 20, available for viewing every weekday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.</p> <p>The exhibit features landscape photography by artist Jan Beauboeuf along the Solomon Northup trail in Central Louisiana. The trail traces the path of a kidnapped free man of color, Solomon Northup, who lived as a slave in Central Louisiana for 12 years until his rescue and return to Sarasota, New York.</p> 3015 Greenwood Rd Shreveport, LA America/North_Dakota/Center
