Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana. Although many businesses have been approved for limited reopening, some nonessential businesses will remain closed to the public. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced.

Virtual Adult Acting Classes with Dr. Ray Scott Crawford

July 11 - August 22, 2020

Shreveport Little Theatre Academy is currently enrolling adults ages 18 and up for a virtual acting academy that will be held, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., each Saturday, July 11 through Aug. 15. The class will conclude with a showcase performance on Aug. 22. The class will be taught by Dr. Ray Scott Crawford, who will focus on basic acting skills and terminology for the stage, with some focus on camera-style acting for those who are interested. Dr. Crawford will be using Michael Shurtleff's Guideposts-based methodology and will incoporate his music-driven system for monologues, scenes and songs. Dr. Crawford is Dean of Communication and Performing Arts at Bossier Parish Community College.

Classes will meet every Saturday, July 11 through Aug. 15, with a final performance on Aug. 22. Cost to enroll in the class is $125 and space is limited. Reserve your space here.
