This tour is one four Saturday events being held, May 1-31, as a part of Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier. Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier is a promotional campaign organized by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau and the Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association. Guests will start the tour by sampling one of Chef Harris' famous "Us Up North" dishes. Next up, guests will board a shuttle and continue throughout the city, making a few stops at some of Chef Harris' favorite spots serving up the best dishes that Shreveport-Bossier has to offer. Tour participants will enjoy a sample of the most popular dish or beverage each stop has on their menu. Come with an empty stomach!

Chef Harris has led the effort to celebrate the foods of north Louisiana’s waterways and farms by establishing the Official Meal of North Louisiana. She is originally from Minden, La. and was recently named as one of Louisiana Life Magazine's Louisianians of the Year of 2017 and one of three chefs named Best Small Town Chef of 2017 by Country Roads Magazine.
