Stay Woke:Empowering Generations Tour - POSTPONED

The Stay Woke Empowering Generations Conference Tour is geared towards African American families. This life-changing conference is slated for April 25, 2020, at the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport Louisiana from 12-6 pm. The day is designed to educate, encourage, empower, and equip women, men, and youth by providing a forum to network, learn, educate, and gain real-life strategies and techniques to improve, transform and thrive to “Stay Woke” in life. There will be panel discussions and breakout sessions on topics such as mental illness, bullying, obesity, elderly care plus so much more.

The conference will feature expert panelists, performances by local and national recording artists, celebrity speakers, vendors, and a “Stay Woke” dress-for-success fashion show. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Providence House, a nonprofit organization in Shreveport that provides housing for homeless families as well as services aimed at needs from an emotional, medical, educational, and employment standpoint.
