Learn about history through our artisans and craftsmen and attend our workshops replete with an Outlander Village. Witness the demonstration of highland cattle herding by border collies. Enter your fur baby in the Dog Show. Amuse the youngsters with the Maypole Dance, tug of war and face painting among other activities. Finally, hop on the hayride and take a tour of the farm. You'll feel as if you are in the highlands of Scotland for the day!
From Shreveport (about 40 minutes) Driving on I-20 East, take Exit 49 (Minden/Dubberly). Turn north (left) as you come off the exit onto LA Hwy 531. Travel 3 miles. At the intersection of Hwy 531 and 79 (at Wal-Mart) turn right onto Hwy 79 keeping to the left lane. Continue down Hwy 79 for approximately 2 miles then turn right onto Louisiana 518 (you will see a festival sign).
