Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana.  The statewide mask mandate has been lifted. However, mask policies in Louisiana will be set by local leaders and business owners. Under the Governor’s new public health order, masks will still be required on public transit and in state government buildings, K-12 schools, early childhood education centers, colleges and universities, and healthcare facilities. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced at that location.

Running of the Hogs will begin at L.E. & Chalk, 724 Azalea Dr. In Shreveport on Sunday, May 16 at 1 pm. Tickets are $7 and up.

Team Pork City is bringing the heat with an epic menu, and their food proceeds will go to ‘Hogs for The Cause.’ The barricades will be up and the street will be blocked off to bring you the first-ever Running Of The Hogs.
