Red River Revel Arts Festival

Sample a variety of local food and art during the Red River Revel Arts Festival, Sept. 28-Oct. 6, 2019 in downtown Shreveport's Festival Plaza. This enormous, family-friendly festival features more than 100 visual artists, music from every genre, food and drink vendors, and more.

Live music highlights of the nine-day festival include: Mississippi blues rockers Bishop Gunn, 8:30, Saturday, Sept. 28; Christian indie rock quartet Colony House, 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2; up-and-coming country star Chase Bryant, 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3; Rising Star alum and Youtube star Macy Kate, 8:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4; and an album release party for Seratones featuring support from New Breed Brass Band, Saturday, Oct. 5. The Seratones show proper will begin at 8:30 p.m., but a Music Prize showcase leading up to their performance – complete with a second-line through Festival Plaza – begins at 6 p.m.
