No one represents New Orleans jazz better than Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Founded in the 1960s by tuba player Allan Jaffe and now directed by his son Ben, the band features seven outstanding musicians who carry the New Orleans jazz tradition forward. New musical territory is explored through Afro-Cuban sounds, Nigerian funk and Ethiopian jazz.
It's important to make music that people connect to, dance to, and really feel.
~ Ben Jaffe
