The Red River National Wildlife Refuge welcomes families with children ages 3-5 to attend Nature Tots. Families will explore nature on the refuge by walking trails, searching for clues, reading stories, playing games, and enjoying wildlife themed arts and crafts.
The event takes place on the first Saturday of every month at 10:30 a.m. (excluding January, July, and September.) The program continues through rain, mud, or shine so dress appropriately and/or bring a change of clothes. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Adults or guardians must attend with their children. Siblings are welcome to attend and older children are encouraged to assist with program activities.
