Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana. Although many businesses have been approved for limited reopening, some nonessential businesses will remain closed to the public. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced.

Mission Possible Fun Run

September 19, 2020

Mission Possible Fun Run will begin at First Baptist Shreveport on Saturday ,September 19 at 8.a.m. Race registration is $30 by August 31 and $35 after August 31. Registration will be $40 on Race Day.

The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission will host its annual 5/10k & Fun Run on the Old Autumn Breeze Trail through the historic South Highland neighborhood. Race starts at First Baptist Church Shreveport at 543 Ockley Drive.

All proceeds from the race will go to The Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission's Life Recovery Program which helps homeless men, women and children break the cycle of homelessness and poverty by giving them the tools needed to become self-sufficient.

Packet Pick Up: Sportspectrum on Thursday, September 17 from noon – 6:30 pm
Friday, September 18 from 10 am – 5:30 pm or race morning at the race site starting at 7 am.
