Mindfulness Meditation Classes Shreveport will be held at Co Hab in The Therapy Room on Monday, July 9, 6-8 p.m.

Breathe, relax, and just be in the here and now. Unwind and relax during mindfulness-based stress-reduction meditation sessions every Monday and Thursday. Thirty-minute sessions begin at 6 p.m. The last session starts at 8 p.m.

This is the atmosphere for you! We will show you how with a little bit of education and a whole lot of peace. Learn how to integrate meditation into your daily life. There is no right or wrong way to meditate, but there are some best practices that we can teach you to discover the mind, body, soul and health benefits and fall in love with meditation. Just remember, meditation is personal and ever-evolving.

The Therapy Room offers mindfulness meditation experiences as a method to introduce our community, individuals, groups, schools, universities, youth and adults to a non-religious, ancient, and newly revived meditative practice that supports the development of wellness and healthy minds, relaxation, reflection, and self-awareness.

Mindfulness-Based Stress-Reduction (MBSR) is a science-based and proven way to help reduce stress and anxiety, stop overthinking, increase focus, self-awareness, passion and productivity. Our mindfulness meditation experiences are sessions that serve as an introduction to the practice.

Today, mindfulness practices can be found in communities across the world, creating a quiet and safe place where one can retreat from stressful, high-pressure and highly stimulating environments to reset, revive and just “be.” Our trained MBSR leaders will guide you through a personalized meditation to begin your relationship with the love of peace and calm.

Please come with an open mind and a willing heart to learn what mindfulness is really about, how it’s done and how it can help improve the overall mood and environment of everyday spaces just by teaching everyone how to embrace the spirit of calm, show gratitude, and gain positive-coping skills just by being still.
