Lip Sync Battle: Fighting the Stigma

Lip Sync Battle will be held at Shreveport Convention Center on Saturday, October 13 at 6 p.m.  Adult admission is $50- $500.

The Shreveport Convention Center and Families Helping Families will host Lip Sync Battle Fighting the Stigma. Local community leaders will be on stage to showcase their best impersonation skills and battle it out for the Golden Microphone to help bring community awareness for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities and other diverse groups who fight unfair stigmas on a daily basis.

This year's contest included:
Shreveport Mayoral candidates Adrian Perkins, Lee O. Savage, and Steven Jackson
Community leaders Byron Wilcott, Emerie Gentry, Jada Durden, K.C. Kilpatrick and Sylvester Marshall

Judges for the evening will be:
Andrew Flook, Owner/Manager of Fatty Arbuckles 
Marcie Ellen, Marcie Ellen Music (Singer/Songwriter)
Gwen Mack, AETNA Better Health Louisiana

Cash bar and free food for all ticket holders. Must be 21 and up. Individual Tickets: $50. Table for 8 is $500. Dress is cocktail attire.
