Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana.  The statewide mask mandate has been lifted. However, mask policies in Louisiana will be set by local leaders and business owners. Under the Governor’s new public health order, masks will still be required on public transit and in state government buildings, K-12 schools, early childhood education centers, colleges and universities, and healthcare facilities. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced at that location.

Libbey Glass: Remembering 47 Years in Shreveport

May 15, 2021

An exhibit recognizing the contribution Libbey Glass has made not only in Shreveport but throughout the world. The contributions would not have been possible if not for the hard work and dedication of men and women from the local area, many of whom worked for decades making America's glassware. Libbey's Shreveport Glass Plant and Factory Outlet store closed December 30, 2020.
