Krewe of Gemini XXXIV Grand Parade
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Krewe of Gemini XXXIV Grand Parade will be held in downtown Shreveport, starting at the intersection of Clyde Fant Parkway and Lake Street on Saturday, February 18 at 3 p.m. Attendance is free.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Krewe of Gemini is the first parading Krewe in modern times in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. In 1990, the first Krewe of Gemini parade was held in Shreveport-Bossier. Today, masked revelers on floats, marchers, and horseback riders respond to the age-old cry “Throw me something, Mister!” by tossing beads, toys, and trinkets. </span></p>
