Kent Gill at Port City Bar B Que

April 24, 2021

Please join us at Port City Bar B Que for a night of entertainment with Kent Gill, a singer-songwriter who makes his home in Shreveport. His recent album, Let Not These Songs Be Wasted, is a collection of ten original songs. One of those songs, "Daddy's Gonna Get a Real Job," is currently headed upward. Kent's songs range from classic country to vintage rock; from Cajun to fiddle tunes as well as some 40s and 50s pop. The title track of his recently released gospel album, "Gods Got Everything Under Control," reached the top five on the Indie World Country charts not long ago. Kent grew up on a farm in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana, and has been singing and writing songs for virtually all his life.
