About the Speakers:
Congressman Mike Johnson – Mike Johnson was born in Shreveport, the oldest of four children of Jeanne Johnson and the late James Patrick Johnson, a firefighter who founded the nonprofit organization, the Percy R. Johnson Burn Foundation, after having been critically burned and disabled in the line of duty. Mike is a dedicated husband and father of four, as well as a constitutional law attorney who has devoted his life and career to fighting for our fundamental freedoms and traditional values.
Former Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran - is an author, public speaker, former Administrator of the United States Fire Administration, former Fire Chief of Atlanta Fire Department and former Shreveport Fire Chief. He helped the New Orleans Fire Department in 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina and went on to serve positions in the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Cochran came under fire when he wrote a book, on his own time, entitled, “Who Told You That You Were Naked”. In this book, he addressed a biblical perspective on sexuality and subsequently lost his job but this has only led to solidify Cochran’s steadfast convictions and as a result has become a sought out speaker all across America.
