Dance Lessons: Dancefest - Introduction to Square Dancing and Choreographed Ballroom Dancing

August 28 - September 25, 2018

Dance lessons are beginning! Come out to visit and dance with us on Tuesday, August 28, 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where you can see and experience the fun of square dancing and choreographed ballroom (round) dancing. No high heels or flip-flops, please. Casual attire and comfortable shoes for dancing. Beginner workshops begin the following Tuesday on Sept. 4.

This is a smoke-, drug- and alcohol-free environment. Dancing isn't just FUN - It's good for your health! It feels good for your soul and has some major health benefits:
Dancing is a great cardio workout.
It is fun and you don't need any equipment.
It's a great social activity.
Anyone can dance - even you - and it's gentle on the mind and body.
It keeps your brain sharp and improves your balance.

So who are the people that enjoy square and ballroom dancing? We have veterans, active military, teachers, medical professionals, homemakers, accountants, engineers, IT specialists, farmers, pilots, private business owners, RV technicians, and many more.

Admission is free Aug. 28, Sept. 4 and Sept. 11. Tuesdays thereafter, square dancing is $5 per person per week; choreographed ballroom dancing $3 per person per week.
