Catahoula Wine Mixer 2018 will be held at Provenance Community in Shreveport on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. Adult admission tickets are $25 and up.
The outdoor festival will celebrate wine, cuisine and music from around the world. Patrons walk or are shuttled throughout parks and overlooks in the Provenance neighborhood to different “regions of the world” where wine, food and music are all paired together to pay homage to each locale.
Each guest receives a complementary Clarkes Jewelers tasting glass to use and take home as a memento of the event. Guests will taste and compare their favorite wine styles from various regions of the world including California, France, Italy, South America, and Oceania. Each region will have local chefs and local musicians showcasing cuisine and sounds inspired by that part of the world.
At the event’s conclusion, patrons will gather and toast the event with dessert and sparkling wine. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Provenance Institute to promote the growth of arts, culture, and environment.
Catahoula Wine Mixer is organized by Provenance Community, PinPoint Local Marketing, Twisted Root Burger Co. - Shreveport, Pelican Tents & Events, and Rhino Coffee.
