Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana.  Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced. There is a statewide mandate for face masks and social distancing.

Bourbon and Barbeque Festival

 
2021-04-10 3:00 PM 2021-04-10 9:00 PM Bourbon and Barbeque Festival <p>Join us for the first-ever Bourbon &amp; Barbecue Festival featuring the best bourbons Shreveport has to offer, served up with a tasting of the best BBQ by local chefs and grill masters. There will be 16 competitors, 8 bourbon cocktail artists and 8 barbecue pitmasters competing for the People’s Choice titles and $1,500.<br /><br />Attendees of the Bourbon &amp; Barbeque Festival will get to sample each barbecue offering and bourbon cocktail while listening to live music from local band, Easy Money and Grammy Award-winning New Orleans group Rebirth Brass Band on the main stage under the Texas Street bridge. Commerce Street will be filled with local products and vendors that complement bourbon and barbecue.<br /><br />Tickets are on sale now for $35 for general admission and $100 for VIP. VIP ticket holders will have access to the VIP lounge with premium seating near the stage and exclusive bourbons and food spread.
