Bossier Parish Student Art Show 2018 "Beneath The Surface"

December 1 - January 31, 2019

The Bossier Arts Council is very excited to present this year's Bossier Parish Student Art Show, "Beneath The Surface". It will be on display in the East Bank Gallery and Emerging Artist Gallery from December 1, 2018, until January 31, 2019.

This year's theme encourages students from Bossier Parish's elementary, middle, and high schools to produce artworks that best express their limitless creativity and imagination. This show represents up and coming young artists who are learning how to express themselves through their creativity and art. Freedom of expression is a fundamental value that art instills in students and the purpose of this show is to provide them with the opportunity to showcase their creative visions and artistic ideas through producing original works of art.

The Bossier Arts Council will accept various media including, painting, drawing, collage, graphic art, print, as well as digital and traditional photography. Students may also submit their work in two-dimensional or three-dimensional formats.

The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Bossier Arts Council located at 630 Barksdale Boulevard, Bossier City, LA 71111.
