The Bossier Arts Council Emerging Gallery presents Brittani Phillips. The show will hang August 2 through September 30, 2019. The opening reception is August 9, 6-8 p.m.
Brittani Phillips is an emerging artist who specializes in functional and abstract art. Her love for painting started when she was a young girl. Growing up in California, Brittani was involved in many different forms of art. She began dancing at a young age, as well as participating in many different plays including, “Steel Magnolias.” She has been painting her whole life, but just recently decided to take her passion to the next level.
Brittani works with mostly high flow acrylic paint and texture paste. She brings to life her canvases with a special technique she has developed over time, bringing together her old style of work with the new.
When Brittani is not in the studio you can find her working at Willis-Knighton as a Rad tech in the Heart and Vascular Institute. She also loves to show her support for locally owned businesses and frequents local restaurants, shops, and farmers markets.
