318 Restaurant Week is back, March 16-21, 2020! The Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador 318 Restaurant Week Food Tour will be held, Tuesday, March 17, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau offers quarterly ambassador tours.
The purpose of these day-long tours is to create "superfans" of the area and educate the hospitality industry, locals and civic leaders on the economic importance of tourism to a thriving Shreveport-Bossier economy.
Tour participants will start the day with a brief orientation at the Downtown Shreveport Visitor Center, board a bus* and taste their way through Shreveport-Bossier visiting some new restaurants and old favorites. The first stop will be a meet and greet with the chef of the Revenir Restaurant, a soon-to-open farm-to-table restaurant and distillery in downtown Shreveport. Other stops will include Us Up North Kitchen, Fat Calf Brasserie, Lowder Baking Company, Sweetport, and The Three Dons. Lunch will be served at Zuzul Coastal Cuisine, one of Shreveport’s newest restaurants to open.
The day will end with participants "graduating" and officially becoming a Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador. Those interested in joining our database will be kept updated on upcoming things to do, volunteer opportunities and tourism industry happenings.
