Be A Fan of Birds! at Red River National Wildlife Refuge

May 19, 2018

Explore the great outdoors and our feathered friends with excursions at two of local nature centers on Saturday, May 19.  The adventure begins at the Red River Wildlife Refuge in Bossier with bird-watching from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Binoculars will be provided along with a brief overview of the types of birds you might see. Then head over to the Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park to learn about our wisest friend, the owl from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Come early to get in a hike and connect with nature.
