Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana. Although many businesses have been approved for limited reopening, some nonessential businesses will remain closed to the public. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced.

Angel Run & Walk 5K - NEW DATE

June 27, 2020

This event was originally scheduled for April 25, 2020, but has been rescheduled for June 27, 2020. 

Each year runners and walkers enjoy this wonderful opportunity for the community to come together for the Angel Run & Walk to be held Saturday, June 27. This fun event makes a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The run/walk starts at 8 a.m. and begins on the Holy Angel's campus located at 10450 Ellerbe Road in Shreveport.

Participants will travel through the beautiful Long Lake subdivision in southeast Shreveport. This is the only walk and run held in this area and gives all who participate the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of South Shreveport. Registration is through Sportspectrum. The Angel Run & Walk has family-friendly activities that include: CeCe the Clown, music, photo booth fun, face painters, bounce house, children’s craft tables, puppet shows, snow cones, and much more! This year,  more fun has been added for teams with new awards and prizes.
