Shreveport-Bossier COVID-19 update: Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has instituted a gradual reopening of many businesses with occupancy restrictions, enhanced sanitation, social distancing, personal protection equipment and other appropriate protection measures necessary to protect the health and safety of the people in Louisiana. Although many businesses have been approved for limited reopening, some nonessential businesses will remain closed to the public. Before you visit a business, please call to confirm that they are open, and to find out what restrictions are being enforced.

Head over to Logan Mansion, a magnificent 1897 Victorian-style home in downtown Shreveport, to experience a narrated home tour. In addition to their regular tours offered year-round, the mansion hosts seasonal Christmas tours and Halloween events complete with ghost stories. History lovers can also experience a day in the country on a self-guided tour of local homes, churches, cotton gins, country stores, a museum, and the cotton field in Gilliam, Louisiana during the Heritage and Harvest Tour that takes place every September.
