Caitlin Lindsay Rose is a painter, performer, and dreamer from Shreveport, Louisiana. Since earning her Bachelor of Arts from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2013, Caitlin has remained passionate about community involvement in the Shreveport area. As a performance artist, Caitlin finds influence in “the experience” of art. She’s a live painter in an audio-visual band called Vela Nora and is the director of a community project called CoCreative. Through Vela Nora, Caitlin has performed more than 100 live paintings for various audiences and venues in hopes to depict the infinite connection between different forms of expression. CoCreative has given her a doorway to help other local artists become involved in their creative community. Since 2015, Caitlin has curated more than 30 music and art showcases in Shreveport. As of 2017, she is working on furthering her art studies, teaching art classes, starting new local projects, and furthering her journey with Vela Nora.
