"I have seen full life transformation; physical, spiritual, and cognitive, due to the community, confidence, and experience, that a well thought out open mic could provide," said Brian "SuperB" Oliva, Spoken Word Poet, Writer, Creative Coach. You can learn more about him on www.superbpoetry.com.
According to Jeff Goins of www.goinswriter.com, "Not only does creativity lead inherently to connection and collaboration, it also involves competition. As they're driven away from prevailing norms, creative people are forced together. And this is how markets get disrupted and world-shaking innovations happen- not in isolation but in solidarity, to compete against the status quo."
