11th Annual Red River Water Resource Festival

This two-day festival kicks off at 9 a.m., Friday, May 5, with safe summer presentations for some 300 elementary school students. These programs will include water safety, wildlife identification & habitat, boating safety and other fun activities.

Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m.- 2.p.m, is the final day, free to the public, featuring water safety, fish and waterfowl biology, water resources and life jacket giveaway.

Because the State of Louisiana is known as "The Sportsman's Paradise," this event will reach an anticipated 20,000 visitors giving better knowledge of the Natural Resources of the Red River, Louisiana waterways.
